"It varies," Natsuno replies. "A lot of stories have them trapped or enslaved, but those who are free are usually feared and respected. Some are violent or outright evil, but... they're a lot like humans, honestly, with different personalities and vices. I don't know how much of the captain is his species and how much is things he experienced or lost over the years."
