Erin's concerned curiosity is coming through more clearly, enough to make Valdis pause and glance over at her. Part of her feels like she will owe Erin an explanation for what is being seen, but she doesn't fully understand everything herself. The tug stops at the wide open door though, only a moment, as if it's allowing them both time to adjust before going past it. A hallway means only one way forward, no way around it.
