The fact that Nobunaga has garb that allows him to dual-wield if he needs to is both awesome to him, and to be expected of a Dread Knight. He accepts the assessment with a nod though; he can prove himself worthy of following without needing to be outright protected, he's sure. He's made it this far, after all! With the occasional moment to stop and mope.

The way that the man talks gets a rueful sort of smile. He speaks in such an even and lofty way. It makes him think that maybe things aren't going to be quite as bad as he thought they were.

"I could take you over to where that dig site is so you can hang out and keep an eye on the archeologist 'til I get back," he suggests. "Bet you guys would have a lot to talk about."
