He pivots instantly, springing off the stumbling guard to attack the other and take him down. Armour is always a pain in the ass, but it looks like this stuff is more meant for pulse rifles or whatever, not big sharp teeth and claws - and it wasn't meant to handle a monster that knows how to knock a helmet off.

Also: for an alien, it tastes pretty close to human.
