"Pft," Ava replies. "That man doesn't enjoy making a scene. The skeleton in his closet, however..." she giggles. It's nice to have more openly obnoxious spotlight thriving friends that she can hide in the shadows of. Even if for this night only she's somewhat the center of it. She keeps nervously glancing about to make sure nobody is watching her far too closely.

"The only thing it was missing was some scuffle for Maximilien to enjoy ending," she grins. But mostly relieved. "It's weird, though. Being happy. I hope I don't sabotage it."
