I think being with a human would have meant trying harder to understand human things and hiding quite a lot more in the beginning. I don't think it would necessarily have reminded me of the Mariposa, but it would have been unsettling. I remembered Lee, Felix, and Caleb, but I certainly didn't trust a lot of people I didn't know already.

It would have been complicated trying to explain the gaps in knowledge and I would have been a bit too tense, likely.
