"I should like to prevent a gruesome death via hemorrhage, mostly," Rosalind answers simply and with perfect candor. "The ether shall hopefully lower blood pressure whilst the cryoprecipitate works. It has served before, though admittedly I was not simultaneously both administrator and recipient at the time."

She pauses to consider how novel the problem is but, if the talking skeleton she'd met was to be believed, then death here was a rather impermanent state of affairs. Perhaps she needn't be so concerned? Then again, if it is between largely untested medical science and magic, she would prefer to be a lab rat on all occasions.

Rosalind hums.

"Ah and the laudanum, or I suppose the morphine, is simply for the concurrent headache. They are quite severe and, tragically, unavoidable. I suppose I could tough them out, if need be, but I didn't assume that would be the most problematic bit to acquire."
