Tiamat looks thoughtful for a moment, her gaze calm and relaxed until a sly smile spreads across her face.

"I'm not the only one with claws in this soul," she says. "But living in continued fear is no life, don't you agree?"

She takes a breath and on the exhale she sinks onto the bed in the brig, shaking her head as if to clear it.
