Ava makes a tiny miserable groan at the mention of Malcolm, thought she had mostly escaped the scrutiny of her friends over it.

"Don't want a man with weak feet," she claims, right as Max dips her. Ava makes a little 'eep' but he doesn't allow her to fall, so she follows it up with a relieved giggle.

"You met him. Does he seem too... nice, for someone like me?" Because she values their opinions very much!
