There is notably no protest as he is led away from the 'camping' area. While Emet-Selch's frequent grumblings certainly make his displeasures known, his silence could often speak just as loudly. This serves as one of those very intentional allowances as he walks alongside his friend, hand in hand, giving their hands an endeared squeeze before he lets go. It's accompanied by the briefest of fond looks of encouragement before looking elsewhere. As if he could see such wishes as clearly as the colors of his soul.
