"She said some odd things about my mind, but I've told myself worse, so they didn't truly bother me. And then she explained being unable to not get feedback from others and their souls, so I managed to block some of it and we were able to converse normally. It was reassuring, to know someone else is as ready to cause havoc as me should we get the chance."

At this, Fever pauses, to make sure she doesn't sound like she's telling Rita she's wrong.

"But perhaps my tolerance to such behavior is higher. I used to travel with a few people who definitely thought they had the answer. Particularly Lae'zel - she was stubborn to a fault, and thought little of us to start with." And yet, Fever still knows she admires the woman's mental strength, and wouldn't hesitate to defend her from anyone else. "Others, like Astarion, certainly didn't have the kindest tongues. You did have to accept that he was just like that."

She's got a fond little look on. "If they could see this place. Any of them, actually."
