Maeve has seen the way that could happen as well. "I have seen it," she says. "In Neo Los Angeles. There was a creation that kept people in their loops." She shrugs. "I'd say at least they had a choice, but in that respect, they didn't." She wasn't sorry for what happened either way. "I don't know what is going to happen, but now that Rehoboam is destroyed...who knows."

She smiles a little at his words. "I do not doubt my realness, darling. I doubt other's ability to realize that I am real." She does doubt whether or not all the parts of herself and all her choices are her own or a part of her programming. "I haven't had a great experience with humans. Unfortunately."
