Darlington's lips press to a thin line when Skulduggery mentions the captain, his own conversation with the man--or whatever he was--and its attending complications still fresh in his mind. If he believed there was any truth in what the captain had said, that the rules that apply to this place are similar enough to the ones that govern his world, then...
