You're talking a lot, but you're not saying anything

Who: Malcolm Bright and you!
What: Truths, lies and in between. This will also serve as a catchall for other July things.
Where: The hot tub, Hurikane, Bric A Brac, wherever else you want him
When: Throughout July
Warnings: None yet

I. ALL TRUTH EDITION
After surviving camp without any injuries or crises, Malcolm is feeling cautiously optimistic. Somehow he doubts that the Captain has decided to no longer toy with them, and yet it's been very quiet lately. Malcolm's generally suspicious nature won't let him rest, but he's feeling a bit happier than he did when he first arrived. He attributes most of that to Ava who might? be his girlfriend?? That's probably jumping the gun a little, but their date at the dance had gone really well. She makes him feel like not everything here is awful.

Also not awful is the hot tub. Malcolm never thought he'd become a hot tub person, but he also never thought he'd live in a place where magic is real. It's a new world. He takes his daily trip down to the tub to soak and do some deep breathing and generally decompress before he starts whatever aspect of investigation he's going to tackle today.

He nods to another person in the hot tub as he steps in, feeling the warm water cover his body. Malcolm settles in, leaning his head back against the rim of the tub and closing his eyes.

II. ALL LIES EDITION
Malcolm's a regular at Hurikane, which he views as the best place to drink on the ship, other than in his room. Since he doesn't have any personal bottles of alcohol at the moment, he ends up at Hurikane several times a week. While he prefers to drink alone, at least going to the bar allows him to talk to the other people on the ship. And by 'talk with', he means 'inconspicuously interview' them about their experiences on the ship.

He slides into his usual barstool and orders a whiskey on the rocks. His drink comes with one big round ice cube in it, slowly melting into the whiskey.

"Hmm," he swirls the glass around, watching the ball rotate inside of it. "That's different."

III. ALL DRY EDITION
Why is a grown man standing in Bric A Brac looking at stuffed animals? Because he's looking for a very specific one. He searches through bears, dolphins and lions until he finds what he's looking for.

Malcolm is at the register paying for (or at least letting the clerk know that he's taking, since everything here is free) a green and yellow parrot stuffed animal. He puts the thing under his arm, half hugging it, and turns around to return to his room.

"What?" he asks. Just a man and a stuffed parrot. Nothing weird here.

IV. ALL WILDCARD EDITION
[ ooc: Re: the above prompts. To clarify, your character can react in whatever way you'd like. Just because it's Malcolm's lie prompt, it could be your character's truth prompt, or your character could be unaffected.
