"It's been a few hundred years since, so I've had plenty of time to adjust." As if mentioning his age is going to make any of this more believable... "I can no longer imagine what it would be like, having skin and organs and everything that comes with all of... that." The only thing he really misses is having hair, but even that is a passing fancy more than a genuine sense of nostalgia.
