César looks sharply to Watson at the words 'earned it', but the kindness in his eyes stifle any remarks. He gives Watson an apologetic look. This wasn't 'earned', he feels.
Johnny speaking saves him from having to address that further. César takes his hand and finds peace in his eyes as well. He gets situated on the bed with Johnny's help properly, parallel instead of perpendicular. He's tall. He can't afford to go sideways.
"Pillows don't have heartbeats. Heartbeats are calming." César says quietly. "... but then it'd make it hard to..." He makes a frustrated noise. "This is a spatial problem."
