( why not cherish what she's been given, considering what she is and how she's brought into this world— there's only so much time until she's sent back to their throne where the divine reside. while she can, she wishes to indulge and take part when she can with her brother. to articulate those feelings on borrowed time that she has would only make things upsetting, and so she carries herself with a smile on her face.

( she's fond of him due to having him help her brother, and she wanted to offer her home due to a few... misunderstandings. it's not the best scenario, but having pinned him down and holding a sword in his face, it was an embarrassing moment that she had to at least do something.
as for her phone, his eyes will be able to spot it sitting right next to where she set the feather. he'll have to flutter over to get it, and then flutter back over to his pillow to sit comfy and text! )
