That is something Gods tend to do, hiding their true abilities because it's safer that way.

( as for why jenny could have done it, perhaps the people here would have asked for her help despite there was only so much she could have done. she already had a plan, and it's not as though they would have seen eye to eye with it. that was then and there is only now to work with as they move things along. with a turn of her hand, she stirs the pot of chocolate before turning to look over to venti to make sure that he's doing his job as cooking requires ones attention to make sure everything is done properly. )

Attacking the captain is... futile as many have come to terms with, or they mourn over the fact. If you wish to help her, her brothers are of utmost importance.

( just like castor is for her. everyone has someone important that they wish to do things for, and while jenny took a risky route, it's made out of that same love that venti shows for his friend at the moment. it's always something, but at least she can help him with this. )

Sometimes that heaviness isn't a bad thing, it keeps you grounded as a reminder of what's important. What it is Venti is that you don't allow it to slow you down or keep you in place. Hehe, it's why we keep going, no matter what.
