[Jade ends up content enough to step down to observing from somewhere in the backdrop as they...very nearly collectively die again over ownership of a gun. Fortunately, Darcy's able to hastily haggle out a deal with Max to hand it over, and...right, okay, now they're setting out!
Not particularly visibly put out by the arguing, Jade's easing into step beside Skulduggery again as Jenny forges ahead, still holding his small fonic flame aloft; combined with Skulduggery's, they've just enough light to illuminate a path for for whole party through the dark of the jungle as they finally pass from the camp clearing and back into the trees.]
Now now, why the long face? [As if Skulduggery's face can make any expressions in general.....still, there's something about the embarrassed angle of his posture.] I think we're doing quite well so far!
