The set up is not much different from last time, with food and drinks set up at tables on the side of the stage that can be rearranged for when it's time to do something more creative. The difference a prop wall has been pulled onto to the stage, proudly displaying everyone's flags.

Grab a drink and some food and be ready to reconnect with your marvelous mates!

[You know, annoying as it is, he's kind of missed their bitchy banter. Izzy's kept a very low profile over the last month. Scarcely seen at all. His daily meetings with Edward dwindling to almost nothing. Then nothing for real.

Still, Stede's words manage to hook and now he's got Izzy's interest.]

Is that a jab you're trying or did something happen?

Izzy crosses his arms and looks at the half made attempt of a... something. Is that meant to be pig?]

Bonnet's bedroom wall most likely.

(so she probably saw. but jinx is going to happily ignore them because she's all about being a brat and a mean ass. she nods with an enormous grin on her face.)

'Course! Once I get inspired, I can't stop. I got it up top if you want it now.

(by that she means up in the rafters of the theater. there's a self-made deck she built many months ago. jinx considers it her little "hide-out" when in truth, it's not... necessarily all secretive. especially when these pirate meetings are always hosted in the theater. but on the plus side, it just means no walking for her when there's a crew meet-up. she can just sit up top and wait for everyone else to make their way in.)

Plenty happened. You should have been there, you'd have gotten a kick out of it. [since it's a little of both honestly. Darcy was one thing. Izzy telling everyone about the contracts was another. His own secrets a third, but the only one he's going to tell that to is Ed- since if Ed decides to go against him there's not much point to anything]

And what have you been doing with yourself? Haven't seen you around much.

( Next up to the stage is the dynamic duo who arrived Izzy's side. Castor speaks first, holding his sister's hand and looking appropriately cranky for a guy who was graciously allowed in on someone else's recommendation. )

( ... The fact that he stays so puffed up and his voice is so deep might just make him sound more ridiculous when he continues after a short pause. )

( that's better than what he could have said, but she's excited for the party? it shows up on her face with a bright smile and a warm affection in her eyes. maybe nice things do happen on this boat. )

As for a recommendation, does anyone here have any enemies? A raid should be performed.

[oh here is that young lady. And her brother. The two that arrived with Izzy. Not really a surprise there]

Just the one really, but I'm not sure a raid is going to work. [though he's beginning to rethink the idea. After all, they're all going to get slaughtered anyway sooner or later. Might as well be in doing something everyone was behind]

I'm a bit of a horseman myself, though I haven't indulged in ages.

(your stupid brother is. when it's their turn to be on the stage, jinx zips and leaps up in the rafters. she pulls out her phone and goes off to fiddle with it; possibly texting someone.)

[To be fair, he told like two people about the contracts and even then it wasn't directly. They figured out the big tadaa all on their own.

Which reminds him:]

You do know that the Captain is a member of your little social club, yeah. [A lazy, vague gesture around. So lazy in fact he doesn't even use his hand, just two fingers and the rotation of his wrist.]

I'm trained as a medic, for Search and Rescue. I'm the pilot but.. need to know shit just in case.

[He can stitch a wound pretty well, but uh.. fabric is a whole other story.]

If you got something better for me to be doing though, I don't think Stede is gonna notice if I finish a flag or not.

Don't be ridiculous. We've both seen him and I've never seen him here. [he's sure as hell not going to let Izzy know he knows]

Anyway, even if he were, I wouldn't know why. It's not as if we do anything important.

[The importance of a good hideyhole can not be enforced enough. They are vital and everyone should have one. Izzy has always been partial to the top of a mast, in amongst the rigging where no one can fucking bother him.]

( Tattoos are a hard skip for Castor, so with Pollux's hand still in his, he's about ready to pass this spot right by. Though... when he sees someone working on a flag, he will pause for a moment to try and peer over their shoulder for a better look. )

( she heard something about a flag, and that's what all castles owned by princess' deserve. so she's going to also peer behind the person's back to look at what they're making. )

[Izzy counts on his fingers. Point 1:] You're a captain, with another captain, with a crew of motley idiots willing to show up to talent shows for you on his vessel.

You hold his name and blood on a signed contract, a contract that I hold, by the way.

And said contract, as confirmed to me by the Captain himself, because we speak, he and I, means he can not hurt you.

I'd say that's three very good reasons to keep an eye on you and your playtime.

( oh, it's that guy who was not at all respectful enough towards pollux in his opinion. and now he's continuing the trend. castor scoffs, tipping his chin up to look down at the other. )

( like, OBVIOUSLY it's not going to work, but who the fuck is he to shoot down pollux's idea like that?! )

( oh stede, hello, she already knew he'd be here thanks to izzy, but it is true... he does make everything like a human fair. it's actually exciting!! she thinks he should switch jobs. )

Stede, do you remember out talk from before? How you've yet to feel like a captain, I believe being a teacher for children would be a pleasant job for you!

( because he handles everyone so well, look at them! drawing and answering questions. anyway. )

[oh well that's great. Now they talk. It's only a matter of time before Izzy throws him over for the new regime. Well he doesn't have time for a mental breakdown just now, he'll save that for later]

[Unfortunately for you, Stede, that would require Izzy to consider you his current regime. Which he does not. but you're not, not right. At least in part. Things are occurring. Which he might have said something about but he isn't so desperate as to beg for attention from either (either??) of his captains. It's a matter of pride and he knows when he isn't wanted.

Izzy gives Stede a flat look. You've answered your own question.]

I think he thought it was funny, until he realized what he'd done. Good news for you, actually, but you should have fucking leveled with me. Made me look a fucking fool hearing it from someone else.

[He stands up, actually sounding relieved to not have to do arts and crafts right now.]

No... [Oh hell with it. Perhaps Izzy is truly hurt by it somewhere deep down. Or at least embarrassed which is worse.] I'm the fool really. I only just-- realized it myself. He probably gets a kick out of it too. Though I'd rather him not know that I know.

Sorry you had to go through that. It's not fun. [even if you could get used to it after a while. But for a man so prideful and not used to failure, well, it probably stung more than a little]

( so true, stede. castor also did not like being considered a human so maybe he's valid on that. though if that's the direction he wants to take this, castor's more than happy to play along, turning his attention to his sister instead. )
