"And eerily empty. While not being empty at all." He always feels like he's being watched, silent invisible eyes constantly on him. He hates that sensation so much which is why he's staying around other people so at least he can pretend that feeling is from actual people and not ghosts or whatever they are.
"I was assigned a cabin, and someone clearly already lives there, though I haven't met them yet. So I've been avoiding it. There doesn't seem to be a second bed." And he's not about to live out some 'there was only one bed' fanfic with a random stranger. Or anyone really.
