Yes, this is his "if I don't scratch the scratcher, I'm always a winner" mindset. Or at least, that's the mindset he's pretending to have.
"I mean, I know it's clothes. I can tell that." He slides it towards the center of the table, so Max can poke it and be sure of it himself. "If they were clothes from my tailor, then they'd be... obviously amazing."
