6th Contraption: The report of my death was not an exaggeration
Who: César and YOU
What: :( SADGE. And processing the sad.
Where: Room 107 for closed prompt, Various for others
When: October 14th through... IDK, the next week or so??
Warnings: SAD SACK CÉSAR. He died at the hands of... well. If you know, you know.
Note: Mostly so I don't forget, César's not taking his ADHD meds because he can't focus anyway, so why not take a med break.
1. Bring Me to Life [CLOSED to Johnny and Watson: Room 102]
He becomes aware of everything as he takes in a greedy breath of air. His lungs fill. His heart beats. His body moves. His eyes flash open, and he can see again.
César lies there on his back, too quiet, too still, staring up at the ceiling in complete horror. Simply experiencing life after experiencing the cessation of it is almost too much.
2. Into the distance [OTA: deck, Windjammer, or library]
It's still too much, later on. César's doing better. Enough to leave his fiancés' sides. Sometimes, he needs air and some different company.
He clings to memories of Rich (they must get him back), letting himself get lost in their warmth as he stares out into the ocean on the deck. Or at his food in Windjammer as he picks at it with a fork. And the stacks in the library are good for aimless staring as well, an open book abandoned on his lap.
3. Ghost of Capitalism [OTA: Spirit Halloween]
It's César's first time in a Spirit Halloween. Another good distraction as he tries to reverse-engineer how things were made or decide what he could do with them. He goes through the place quietly.
Sometimes he's picking up a cheap Halloween decoration and frowns at it thoughtfully. César nearly jumps out of his skin after setting off a motion sensor decoration, muttering something vulgar under his breath in Spanish (yes, on purpose). In the children's section, his own spirit seems to deflate when he picks up an orange and blue gi and fingers the fabric absently.
4. Caffeine [OTA: Sand Dollars]
César just. Needs to make himself coffee at some point as a distraction. He looks up with a tired smile and gestures the mostly full coffee pot he had just been pouring. "Made a fresh batch."
5. Picking up the Trash. [OTA: Promenade]
César can't figure out how to pick up the pieces of what's going on in his life, so he's picking up trash instead. Throwing it into a small inflatable he cut open from Spirit Halloween and using a pair of tongs to pick it up. He looks like he hasn't had slept.
