Oh. He's been chosen. He is a safe space for the cat. There's that warm fuzzy feeling in his core again, and he strokes at the cat's head a few times before letting it sit there and nap.

He'll stay there as long as the cat is curled up on him, he has plenty of people to text. Occasionally he'll rest a hand on the warm furry body; feels nice to not be alone and know something else is there with him.
