The further they get, the more the headache wanes. It's frustrating to be at the mercy of someone she doesn't know, but she feels if Erin meant her ill, the time to strike was past. It's still unsettling, however.

She hears the impress of the elevator button and senses the irritation of her guide, but the sound of her voice doesn't match the sensation, so perhaps it's directed at something else.

"My name is Valdis."

She hears the elevator wizz and shift into place.
