[ her steps come to a halt mid-way through the doorway when she spots an unfamiliar
woman in her room. her blonde ponytail is the first thing that draws tear's attention, and
for a second tear is visibly more alert, shoulders tense: an innate reaction from her life
as a former soldier.

not every stranger is a danger, though, and she has to remind herself of that as she
enters the cabin more completely. she knows well that the ship isn't exactly an infinite
space, so ... there was only one logical reason for this new woman to be in her room, right?

as she speaks, her hand subtly goes to where her phone is, feeling it through the fabric of
her uniform. assuring that it's there only further confirms her assumption. ]

Hi. I'm Tear... You're my new roommate, I take it?

[ truthfully, this isn't the first time she's had to share a room, even with a relatively
unfamiliar person; she and her companions back home had had a rocky start to their travels.
a part of her is a little embarrassed by how much of the space she's been taking up though,
and she's already thinking ahead about how to be most fair to this person ... ]
