Even engrossed in her romance novel, Ava's sharply aware when somebody else enters the library. A part of her brain busily tracking the movement, and at first she doesn't think anything of it. People come and go from the library often enough. But the footsteps approach, and she glances up over the pages, trying not to look too embarrassed of the cover with the nearly shirtless Fabio with a buxom blonde.
