Max has her wrapped around his finger and she will never admit it to anyone. Her gaze drops to the ground, unable to meet those large eyes.

She won't order him to not see Siffleur, or to not be reckless or pursue his needs. She doesn't have that right and she's not going to exert control over him like his master did.
