For the sake of ease, those entering memories will be assumed to not be noticed until they choose to take significant action in a memory. If, for example, in the kitchen memory, if someone wanted to clean up the mugs and meal packets or read over Ratthi's shoulder, they won't be noticed, but if they decide to stab Mensah, that'll be a notable alteration to the memory, and people are going to freak out.

"Couple decades late on that." Erin walks backwards nice and slow, hands still in her pockets, raising her eyebrows. "How'd you get picked for this gig anyway?"

There's that portal she fell in through. Erin starts weighing the pros and cons of just jumping for it.

(Security has never named the company in front of her, favoring simply 'the company'.)

"No, no, not m'bot as in 'my bot, whom I own' but more like 'my good sir' or perhaps 'my esteemed colleague'." Insurance company, good FUCKING GOD. "You really are wasted in this line of work, SecUnit. You might think about a career change."

"I literally cannot." And if there is snark in its tone, there's an immediate tiny, nearly imperceptible flinch that follows, as its governor module shocks it for being disrespectful.

"Yeah," Erin murmurs, genuine sorrow in her voice. "I know."

She makes a Stone-powered leap for the rift.

Advantage: very fast, quite sudden, hard to get shot at.

Disadvantages: she's definitely gonna hit the wall of the corridor in the ship very fast and get fucking owned about it.
