Corrupted Angels of Death have no need for tomes, or rules, or even the will of gods, but Palamedes' conversation with the woman is far more interesting than any petty retort she might come up with. She can feel the sensation of coming death grow stronger, but she's not entirely certain it's the woman's death that is coming. It...feels as if, no matter how clever Palamedes' plan may be, it is going to fail. But she's still loathe to interfere. It's too late to actually change what is going to happen.
