i tried ( memshare event )
Who: clarke griffin & your poor unfortunate soul
What: memories, all alone in the moonlight
When: all of march
Where: wherever you least expect a rift in reality to open up. also space, mount weather, earth...
Warnings: general warnings for blood, violence, murder attempted or completed, genocide, maybe even gross body farming. specific prompts will have their individual warnings listed in the body of this post and any additional ones will be noted in subject headers.

CHILDHOOD ( open )
— enjoy the little things, like watching a kid commit the stupid crime of touching books. no warnings here.
SKYBOX ( karkat, number 6, & open )
— did you know clarke was in prison for a year for treason? conspiracy to commit treason? eh, best summed up as "to keep her quiet". well now you can find out! bonus points, she thinks she's hallucinating. cw: probably some dead dad/execution talk and mention of mild eugenics themes, this is dystopia space after all.
D(ropship) DAY ( rita & open )
— when 100 kids are pretty certain they're about to be prematurely executed, one or two's likely to fight back. abby griffin cameo! cw: see above warnings.
QUARANTINE ( darcy, palamedes, & open )
— witness clarke gone absolutely feral, and her first escape attempt frombody harvesters she doesn't know are body harvesters yet mount weather. cw: some self harm, blood, violence, potential body horror depending on how the thread goes.
LEVERS ( open but requires plotting )
— join clarke in committing a genocide! cw: genocide!! (also mentions of torture and body farming) this can also partially serve as a cinematic experience for your character, but please respond with some sort of reaction just so i know who saw it.
AIRLOCK 5 ( semi-closed to natsuno, but hmu ooc if you're interested )
— no one likes being faced with their demons. but sometimes those demons set up creepy music boxes and lure you into watching your friends being murdered. cw: violence, attempted (or successful! threads of fate can be changed) murder
THE CITY OF LIGHT ( open )
— when you show an a.i. a picture of the greater metropolitan new york, but she cleans it up and also makes it a hivemind that you have to infiltrate. cw: violence, some creepy hivemind shit, will warn further for anything else.
AFTERMATH ( open )
— your all purpose aftermath wildcards! wanted a memory i mentioned in the plotting post but it didn't make the cut? still available upon request! request starters or throw up your own

fuck up the npcs to your delight, deus ex lexa next tag
in the end it matters very little that she doesn't know him. it matters even less she can't parse out how he got here. entering the city of light in a last ditch attempt to save humanity had been a terrifying, but the only way out of this she could see once all their other plans had failed. and it'd been something clarke had resigned to do alone.
but it means a lot, a lot to have someone by her side. saying i'm with you, with absolutely no sign she should second guess the conviction. the grip on his sleeve morphs into a solid grasp of his wrist. that's as good as a handshake, isn't it? )
Just keep going. Don't let them catch you. Follow the infinity symbol — if you find the killswitch before me, pull it.
( before me, maybe also meaning without me. because halfway up the second set of steps, and clarke's struggling to breathe. the nosebleed's started up afresh, the back of her throat tastes like copper and burns so badly she wants to throw up blood just to ease it. despite the desperation with which she keeps urging them forward, she feels like she's dying.
and near the top of the steps, eats absolute shit. just bodily collapses, barely avoids splitting her head open on a marbled step, and probably almost drags pratt down with her.
behind them, the increasing patter of a dozen or so pairs of shoes means the city inhabitants are chasing them flat out now. sprinting their way, converging on them. by virtue of this city boasting peace, they at least have no weapons. but a few descend on clarke with intent to kick her to death. pratt is almost ignored at first — his code hasn't been sent out to every city inhabitant like a wanted: dead poster — but a.l.i.e. isn't stupid. a second or two later, a man launches himself bodily at pratt, attempting to tackle him down the steps. three more close in to either restrain or punch him in the face. )
Yessss
[He nods, because if there's one thing he can do and also remember, it's orders. He's seen that symbol on the street lights, he hadn't noticed the woman's hair, but he's sure he can find it if he needs to. He doesn't need to ask what the killswitch is, he assumes he'll know it when he sees it. And if not he can shoot everything and hope for the best. Or potentially blow the whole thing up with him included. He's already died in one of these to know he'll revive on the ship, so all sense of self-preservation is gone. But Pratt is all about saving the world. He's here for this.
He can tell that Clarke is fading fast, injured in some way he can't see. But he's not expecting her to flat out fall and he almost goes down too. But at the last minute he catches himself, crouching near her to protect her from the oncoming civilians. He snarls at them, standing up to his full height (unimpressive but hey, it's what he's got).]
Like fuck are you gonna come curb stomp someone.
[In a heartbeat he downs one of them with a bullet between the eyes, and then a second through the chest. He'd always been a decent shot, but when the alternative was being starved and beaten, he got far more than 'decent' under Jacob's care and tutelage.]
Up up, come on, we're gonna get to the end of this.
[The gun gets holstered, swapped for the knife at his belt and he leaps on the one that charged him, tackling him to the ground and slamming the knife in his throat. Pratt is both quick, and efficient when the end goal is to just kill anyone who gets close. But there's so many of them, and even if he can hold his own for a while, Clarke is on the ground. He wraps an arm around her, bodily hauling her to her feet with more strength than his emaciated form should have.]
This way, let's go.
