We didn't choose the pirate life
Who: Stede Bonnet, Edward "Blackbeard" Teach, Lucius Spriggs, Skulduggery, John Watson, Darcy LeJeune, Diana York, Ava, Yuri Lowell, Clarke Griffin, Beetlejuice, Jinx, Jim Jimenez and Hiram
What: Pirate Crew Meet & Greet
When: 5/27
Where: Bellona Theater
Warnings None yet
Everyone at some point will get an invite to the theater, either pressed into their hand or shoved under their door. The stage is set with black curtains hanging in the background and on each seat there will be a little gift basket with a black ribbon, a name, a candy bar and a black pen with a little spiral notebook.
In each notebook, Stede has written a little note of encouragement. He will wait for them all to find their seats before he begins.

[ Either... well, she's more than willing to accept her own stupidity, of course. But she's sure that in all the time he's been here, people would have tried everything else. Attacking him, trying to persuade him, bargain with him, reason with him. That... nobody ever thought to try and help him churns her gut a little. Maybe he usually brought monsters here, maybe it was deliberate, maybe she wasn't even going to be the one to do it. But... ]
I'm sorry. Can't say I'm surprised, but I am sorry. We're going to fix this, even if you won't help us. Even if it is stupid. You deserve mercy.
[ Even the angry dead clawing her flesh to ribbons deserved to rest. It sure wasn't going to be easy, and she doesn't believe her own words as she says them, her anger at being trapped and separated from her life still too fresh and raw to deliver with the conviction it deserves. But if it's their way out, if this is what must be done, then it must be done. Darcy has always been a vessel for things greater than herself, always subsumed in the will of others. She'll get used to the feeling again, given enough time. ]
