I pronounce you married as fuck

WHO: Klaus, Nobunaga, & YOU
WHEN: June 30th-July 1st
WHERE: Chatterbox
WHAT: A wedding
WARNINGS: Nah

(I was gonna make it fancy, but I cannot...so...I guess I hope you still love me)

Please enjoy this pinterest board where the general vibe exists. There's basically so much candy that whatever you want is probably there, so please don't worry about it!

Klaus and whoever is helping him with the set up, moved the tables around some before setting up an aisle of giant rainbow lollipops that Ava helped him make giant. Connecting the lollipops together are little "garlands" of candy buttons. Klaus will be being stressed about the whole thing, but that's fine.

In case you missed it on the fliers and stuff they put up to catch the people that they didn't talk to personally (if you are involved, you were definitely talked to personally and if you're close friends, you were talked to personally. Also if you cannot see, Klaus definitely either told you or ), there's another sign outside requesting no arguments or fights as well as to respect the no alcohol thing. Valdis and Ari are both trusted and allowed to deal with anyone that goes against that.

There isn't a ton of set up where the karaoke box usually is, but there's a little table there for the purposes of signing their contract which Ari has so very helpfully put together as the officiant of sorts. They're skipping the vows part of the whole thing because they've done like...that and Nobunaga is not necessarily a fan of public displays of intimate vibes. They will be exchanging their wedding rings (that are their engagement rings doing double duty). Soooo the wedding part's gonna be pretty brief, but that leaves more time for the party, right?

There are tables with mostly candy on them, but there is also a table with actual food on it that Pratt (and whoever else wanted to help with that) brought to the room with him during the set up. Don't eat all the garlic bread before they can get to it, or so help them!!!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this adventure with them.

"Yes. But that is now how Hale and William are shaping the world. Mind control and when that doesn't work, death or Host. Sometimes both." She doesn't mention the uncomfortable situation with the woman who was so broken mentally that she couldn't tell she was surrounded by death. Then she tried to kill them, but it was far easier to mercy kill her.

She looks up finally after a long moment. "I guess I'm getting used to not getting what I want. At least the sentiment will help me here." Because getting what you wanted was like grasping at straws sometimes. "I don't know exactly. Rehoboam predicted it before we destroyed them all. It said the end of the world would come. And Bernard's plan was for Dolores to restart things in the Sublime. The what and the how, I didn't witness. I was a distraction, a way of giving Bernard time to do what he needed to."

Well this just keeps getting worse and worse. Mind control. Death. Turned into hosts. The fact Maeve wants to go back there for her daughter is baffling.

"I can't say I understand, well, any of that. But it sounds awful and that you're far better off in this place than there. You may not be able to get what you want there, but here - there's lots of opportunities to work around the concept of reality." Granted what she wants isn't actually here, so that might be tough, "And what you have now are memories of what would have been the future for you?"

It's not that world but the Sublime. It's a shame that Dolores was the only one that got to go to the Sublime in this plan. But perhaps that was all the time they had. Still...

"I suppose I am. Though, I guess we're not finished dying." She guesses it's a small price to pay at this point, though. As long as she doesn't cease to be. At least she gets to live here. People aren't killing her simply because of what or who she is and she isn't expected to be a weapon against whatever bad guy crops up this time. But she'll never have her daughter. The one she fought for for so long. Perhaps it's time to live with the fact that she did the best she could. She got her to a place that was better and more safe and she, in a way, saved her life. Perhaps that is enough.

"Yes. That is what I have. So there is nothing to go back to. No reason to fight to return. Even if I did, I would not be able to access the Sublime and so I would simply be alone. I already did that for seven years after the war. It's lonely."

"You don't need to fight to return, but you also shouldn't completely give up and become apathetic. I personally do not enjoy living on a ship, and there must be other realities out there we could go to, we simply need to figure out how. Or more precisely the Captain needs to be convinced to do so and that us leaving won't cause reality to collapse around himself." See? Easy.

He sighs, "I can't say I understand, because I don't have people close to me in my world so I barely miss them. But that you're still here is a testament to your perseverance, it's time to live for yourself instead of others."

Maeve looks over at him and nods. "How do you think we go about convincing him of that?" Cause she doesn't really know him that well. She's aware that Max is friends with the Captain's boyfriend...or whatever they are calling it. "I am hoping that we will be able to get off without too steep a cost, but it's hard to say." She doesn't understand the rules of magic.

She stills for a moment, arms crossing over her stomach. "It feels like such a foreign thing to live for myself. I'm not sure I know how."

"There's been some progress already, in that he actually converses with people now more than he used to. So there's a chance he'd listen to a compelling argument - the main problem being that I'm not sure anyone has any solutions. Without knowing what alternative things he could use as fuel for this reality I can't begin to fathom how he would keep it running without us. And I'm certain Skulduggery can't sustain it on his own." Though he's fairly certain they could keep Darcy and Rita and Clarke on opposite sides of the ship and release them like fighting roosters whenever the place needs a fill up of emotions.

"Of course it is, because you weren't built for it. No one like us was. Which I think gives us a better perspective on such things because we had to fight and change to accomplish it."

"That is certainly a problem, yes." She frowns slightly. "There has to be something. A way, perhaps, to save up emotional energy to keep things going." But she can't imagine how that would work either.

There's a nod at that. "It is the one thing that we were not given the tools for, I suppose. I did live for seven years on my own, though. So I could pull from that, I wager."

"I'm not sure why he specifically needs us here, when instead he could make some sort of collection device and we could go off to other universes and stand in places of high emotional turmoil and let the battery charge so to speak. There's always a war somewhere, there's bound to be a way to make this more optimized." He's positive they can streamline magic the way that technology has been.

"Seven years completely alone sounds like torture." Said with sympathy, he might despise humanity but he'd find it difficult and extremely lonely to live without them.

"It would be easier if we could. There's always hardships and complications somewhere." And she would at least like the chance to be able to live in a world and try to navigate it. If she cannot go home and go to the Valley Beyond, at least there is a way to get something perhaps less hectic. "It does get terribly boring after a while to be on just one place, but that is perhaps neither here nor there."

She gives him a small smile. "There were some people, just no one I was close to. No one I could confide in or really talk to."
