"You got it. I'll see if I can hunt one down. If I can't? What's next on the list?"
He shakes his head and laughs softly. "Instead I make building supplies out of garbage and help underserved communities get clean water. I'm no scholar."
"No scholar, but you do things that a man needs intelligence to even consider doing. It's too late, sir - you've simply moved from one type to another." She shrugs, but it's all meant in grace.
"And unless I miss my mark, you're new here - I can't recall hearing a voice like yours. Welcome to the Serena Eterna, if none have said it yet. I'm Helena."
"I cheat a little. My abilities aren't...natural, you know?" He doesn't want to give the impression that he's just that smart. Ash has supernatural abilities that help him do amazing things.
"Mr. Ashley, you'll soon find that no one here is going to pass judgement on whether abilities are natural or otherwise. We'd be quite the hypocrites to do so with the forces at work here."
"That's a big change. Humans are a lot more wary of this kind of stuff. At least where I am from. They wouldn't think what I am or what I can do is natural, even if I was born with it." He smiles at her. "You can just call me Ashley, Helena."
She can hear the smile, even if she can't see it. "Our population is so blended that it'd be foolish to draw any lines such as that. Dear friends of mine, from what I'm told, look inhuman but are, and the inverse to be true as well. Of course, out of them all, I have the easiest time of it."
A little laugh, directed inwards - it's easy to be free of those suppositions when you lack that visual barrier.
"You are wonderful, Helena. I am...I'm really glad we met." He was still smiling. She is smart and kind, something he doesn't encounter often. "Think we could meet up again?"
