Time to kick Medical butt

WHO: D'vana Tendi
WHERE: The Infirmary
WHAT: Trying not to panic, and setting up her Medbay
WHEN: Early June

Tendi is having a bit of a day. She's woke up somewhere that was not where she went to sleep, had a mustering that was vaguely threatening, and now is set free to roam on this sea ship with noone she recognizes, and in addition, seems to be in the distant past. However, she's resourceful and determined, so first things first.

The map of the ship has indicated there is a infirmary, and that seems a good a place as any to begin. She still has her medical kit, even if it's low on supplies, but from the look of this place, they seem to still be in the knives and string level of medicine, she's sure that her skills will be greatly appreciated.

She arrives in the infirmary, and begins to take stock, seeing what medicines they have, other supplies. After all her hypospray only has a few doses left, and best to save that for an emergency.

"I suppose this level of medical advancement would be quite primitive to someone used to more refined tools and resources!" Much like the methods of yesteryear are as primitive as it gets from his perspective. At any rate, he steps inside once it's clear that she wasn't in the middle of some delicate procedures.

"Both yes and no. While I was able to get an idea of the available amenities, I am still no closer to determining when we might be able to disembark."

Despite his resolution to keep his own spirits up, Ingo can't keep from letting out this troubled, disgruntled sigh. It is as Tendi says... which is not boding well. In fact, it isn't quite dawning on him in full yet due to the sheer scale.

"That is... troubling, to say the least. It seems as though the circumstances have left a good deal of people feeling as if their only option is resignation."

Which he'd really like to think isn't the case.

"Not to mention, demanding such a thing of you is callous at best!"

"No, I think that is a perfectly rational doubt. Simply because the finality of death is undone once, it does not mean that it will be undone twice."

If someone is causing this effect, then they could just as easily stop causing it.

"Even if this rule remains a constant, complacency is a danger in and of itself. I, for one, am put more at ease by knowing that a medical professional such as yourself has no intention of blindly trusting something that is near impossible to prove."
