meaning, shortly after seeing the others off, Friday returns to the atrium and begins setting up a few items she's brought from... somewhere, one assumes? a pup tent. two sleeping bags. a tent stove. s'mores accoutrements. there's a fake potted plant that she decided looked enough like a tree. all pushed together in the middle of the atrium.
at her spot behind the desk, she looks visibly pleased with herself. she's doing her best.]

But perhaps were she more fanciful, as mortals are, it might. As it is, she considers the man before her. "Have you been here long?" She has not seen him before, but that means little: there are many aboard that run a daytime schedule and thus have never crossed paths with her.

She is probably the only one who is enjoying her time on the ship, and is amused by all the nonsense. Apparently most mortals find it distressing instead of fascinating. More's the pity, there's plenty to enjoy.

She doesn't give out information for free: he'll have to ask questions, and be prepared to give her information in return. She is not particularly altruistic, by nature or nurture, despite Louis' best efforts to give her something like a set of morals.

Another who can appreciate good manners. This ship is decidedly short on decorum, long in murder. Well, it's merely to be expected, she supposes, given the very nature of the cruise. She will have to mind herself around this Emet-Selch, and see exactly what level of authority he is accustomed to, and if he is the sort who sought power for the freedom it gave him, or for some idea of nobility.
If the former, she will make note to avoid him. If the latter...perhaps he might be of some entertainment or use.
