It does seem a little odd that he's asking such specific details of people that he'll never meet, but Ava remembers being a kid asking far too many questions of the scientists and how they kept brushing her off. She doesn't want to be that way.

"Just the two that I've heard of. Conner and... well, I never met the other. Nobody really knows? It's a large ship, it's hard to identify even when it might have been. So try to stick close to somebody, I think. Check in with them."
