adult pool;

[ sometimes, you need to breathe. Even when the sea swells and rolls and dips underfoot as far as the eye can see, no land in sight, boat swaying under boots -- sometimes you just need to breathe.

And sometimes you need to do it with a drink in your hand and your feet propped up - that's what's Dean is doing. Being on another metal tube that may sink at any given moment has triggered anxiety he didn't even know he had, and, well - drinking is always a good excuse for therapy.

He can't find any rhyme or reason to what is happening in this place anyway, and after the his first soup drenching, he's not bothered to put on clothes he likes when heading out to partake. Instead, he's shied away from the buffet tables a little and is instead lounging by the pool in his newest (and lets be real, his new favorite) pair of boardshorts and a wide brimmed hat, eyes protected by a comically large pair of sunglasses, which is all that was available in the shop.

God, he looks like such a douchebag, he knows. He also doesn't care.

Cash him outside, bitches. ]

cabins;
[ Should you actually know what Dean's cabin is (and even if you don't, knock knock bitches), then he could be found there, maybe, provided his weirdo roommate isn't lurking around. Crowley's fine, it's fine, Dean doesn't get the vibe the guys gonna take his shit, but still. Weird.

He's only ever roomed in close proximity like this with his brother and his father, and sharing a cramped space with a stranger is weird. So if they're both avoiding each other, that's fine. It's totally fine.

Not awkward at all.

At any rate - he can easily be sought out there if you happen to notice the shifting patterns, or a note can be left. Whatever you fancy. If he knows you, there might be a note slipped under your door or a message sent via shiptalk; ]

Crowley had been by the pool for a while, floating around on one of those unicorn loungers that are usually reserved for the younger swimmers, it's pink and rainbow color scheme seemingly at odds with the dark shirt and slithering snake covered swimming trunks he wore. The unicorn floaty wasn't even adult sized so his legs dangled in the water at the knees but it was comfortable enough.

"Nice hat."

He chuckled and raised his own glass in a toast.

"Been meaning to ask... should we establish some roommate rules? What is it they do, a tie hung on the door means don't come in, that kind of thing?"

"With the rooms being the only place where secret meetings can be held seems like a good system to work out."

He took a long sip from the cocktail.

"Sock, I'll remember that."

Tons, and he had done it right, even going so far as to give the secret meeting places codewords and clandestine instructions. One had to be careful with Heaven and Hell watching over you.

"You haven't? Better get used to the idea if you want to get anywhere on this ship with that Captain spying on everyone through Friday."

"That's what the kid said."

What was the guy's name?

"Reigen. Friday won't spy and the ghosts won't enter any of the rooms as long as some one is in there. I haven't looked for any cameras."

He gave a little kick in the water sending his unicorn floaty in a bobbing lazy circle.

"You've really only ever been to one secret meeting? You must live a charmed life."

"What... for bugs? You know how to do that?"

Color him surprised! Here he had thought Dean just a normal cruise ship passenger not some kind of spy tech expert.

He smiled and settled back into his unicorn float.

"You have some kind of machine for that?"

As long as these bug finding techniques didn't also involve setting up demon capturing sigil traps or protective salt barriers, those might catch more than bugs. Crowley didn't have as much savvy when it came to human listening devices but he did have a sense for detecting when an occult being was spying on him... which sadly wasn't working nearly as well onboard ship. Any help he could get with that was more than welcome.

"Under the bed? Things are always choosing to go 'bump' in dark places like that."

It was bound to happen sometime. But hey, a fellow Bond fan! If only that had been said aloud they might have ended up friends forever... or at least they might have found the time for an evening of spy movies.

Crowley gave this a thoughtful little nod.

"Its a wise precaution. We don't exactly know that Friday is the only way we are being spied on."
