Who: Gummy and You!
What: Some last minute shenanigans, possibly of the curse variety.
When: Last week of July
Where: Playback, Promenade, and more!
Warnings: Given the potential curse shenanigans, there is a possibility of war, disease, discrimination, cannibalism and terrorism being brought up. Feel free to opt out here, comments are screened. should the curse come up, i'll flip a coin for truth or lies! for the arcade prompt i'll roll a dice for randomization.
i. you brought this on yourself, girl.
( when gummy first arrived on the ship, karaoke machines kidnapped people and, you know. part of her had so naively hoped that that was the worst of it. and then she got sick just in time for battle royale, witnessed things she really should be used to but wasn't, had a meltdown and refused to actually reach out to others for
looks at calendar
like, two months.
it's easier to watch people tear each other apart if you don't know or care about them, after all.
but she can't spend the entire cruise in her room sulking. and she's always been a social girl. so eventually, despite the risk of the curse, one little bear girl trudges out, vault door still in hand. she doesn't have a problem, you have a problem. with her cool, handy shield. ... man, she really doesn't know what to do with herself, huh?
at least the arcade is normal and familiar. with the vault door propped against one of the cabinets, gummy stands at what looks to be something like puyo puyo tetris the arcade edition, and she's goin' at it with a surprisingly blank look for a game so cute. or at least, she is until she notices she's being watched. then it's all smiles. )
ii. neon lights don't make up for much
( ... but it's another familiar sight at the end of the day. still, she's never quite sure where to go, actually. so there's a lone bear, walking up and down the strip and window-shopping. somehow, definitely not something that can be attributed to her being a shut-in for a while there, despite being here for some time, it all looks new to her even now. )
... Kinda reminds me of downtown.

( because, well, most cities are all neon, all originium powered. ... granted, he could just be from someplace not like terra at all. )
But, yeah! Chernobog was real big, real bright. It was pretty at night, and when I went camping sometimes I could still see the lights in the distance.

Oh huh, you can't see the next biggest town from where we are, it's in a valley and even from the tops of the mountains there's too many trees. But that actually sounds kinda pretty.
Like being able to see Las Vegas from far away.
