Lights! Camera! Arrival!
[ Behold the morning of the August 9th, right up front in the dining hall a large sign has been tacked up onto the wall, obscuring a few windows in its overbearingly large text. ]

[ Because after all, Elysium is all set up now, with a cute table he dragged out of a closet, an hot water kettle he's set up on top with some freshly brewed tea in paper cups, some fries he dug out a resturant. He's got it all set up to kick back for a few hours, dispatch great wisdom, and maybe have his worldveiw totally rewritten. That's the exciting things about vacations, travel and people. You'll never know what might happen next!

[ Elysium flashes a #Winning smile at the younger man, leaning across the table and almost spilling his own tea, but pulling back at the last second. ]
I figure as the host, its polite for me to help you first, but I'll graciously accept whatever you bestow on me, or tell you all about how much my superiors bully me at work!
[ Not that he's not excited to hear about Ekko's troubles too, but talking about himself is also fun. The amount of Jinx related therapy Elysium is handing out today without ever hearing her name mentioned. ]

[Taking another fire Ekko bit into a moment as he figured out a place to start.]
The problem is I'm not sure where my relationship is. We were making headway and she said she loved me, but then something happened and now she's pushing me away because she's afraid she'll mess it up, because she's a jinx.

[ Elysium says, totally misinterpreting this? ]
Well, it sounds like this lovely lady really cares about you. The issue seems to lie far more in her low self esteem, does it not? It's less what you've done, and more what she fears she will do to you.
[ Elysium claps his hands with a grin. ]
So, you need to prove your strength as a man! As a partner! As an equal! You need to prove to her, even if she's a jinx, or whatever, you can take her on! You'll be right here for her, whenever she needs you!

You know if that's a joke, it's a pretty bad one. There's no doubt about my manliness or worth as a partner, or any ability to please her. I'm there for her no matter what she needs and she knows that. It's just, we were on opposite sides of the fight before. Fighting for our own vision of the future and what it should look like.
She'd probably shoot you for saying that too.

[ Elysium gives Ekko a thumbs up. He's not sure what part of his amazing advice was a bad joke to this poor guy but eh, whatever! Seems like it just means he's confident in himself too. ]
Anyway, hold your Kuranta! I'm not doubting your abilities, thats just super uncool. More like, if some ones lost in doubts, you gotta work twice as hard to get the message across! Emotions or your unshared ideals, you can't just go sitting around expecting her to suddenly understand you.
Oh, but don't shoot me! A face this handsome is a once in a lifetime experience, and even if I come back...criminal.... The destruction of art, basically.

[That tracked a bit better with Ekko, the message and focus needed to be Jinx, getting her worth and value to him through. He needed to be twice as confident in her and in them so when she wanted to doubt it she couldn't.]
I probably have been waiting in the wings a bit too much. Giving that guy a little too much time to get in her head.
You don't have to worry about me, I don't have a gun. But if she heard you say any of that, I'd probably think twice.
