[ Because after all, Elysium is all set up now, with a cute table he dragged out of a closet, an hot water kettle he's set up on top with some freshly brewed tea in paper cups, some fries he dug out a resturant. He's got it all set up to kick back for a few hours, dispatch great wisdom, and maybe have his worldveiw totally rewritten. That's the exciting things about vacations, travel and people. You'll never know what might happen next!

[ Elysium will bite, he's curious. No Face sounds like a monster Siracusan children make up to scare one another, but cups vanishing is just like, supernatural stuff totally out of left field. He saw the cup break! Logic would dictate its still there on the floor still broken. ]

... Oh my Lord, its totally gone.

[ There was super dangerous, super unfun glass all over the floor, and now??? ]

What the... You're not playing tricks, are you? [ His tone isn't reproachful, instead Elysium is genuinely puzzled. ] I'll admit, my eyes aren't too good, and this is a great prank if you pulled it off but...

Nnnope! That's the magic of this place. You break somethin' or draw on a wall, it'll just come back or clean itself up.

(jinx shifts her seat a bit; moving her upper body as if she's trying to pop the cracks out of her back.)

If ya ask me, I hate it. Some things are just meant to be broken, y'know?

Ahaha, thats one way to think about it, I guess.

[ With a shrug Elysium, settles back into his own chair. ]

But from another angle, if they vanish, broken things can't be fixed either. You loose the ying with the yang, the bad with the good. You might start asking what the point of something breaking even is.

That's easy. 'Cuz it feels good to break and destroy somethin'. I live on having destruction. Keeps me goin' every day.

(a soft smile to him which is rather rare these days. but hey, this conversation is pleasant so it's granted as such.)

[ Aw, he see's that smile. You go, scary girl. We can talk abut smashing stuff all you want! ]

You should gather up all the kids and have a party where you smash stuff, then. Seems like a good outlet when we're all stuck on a boat.

[ A beat before he thinks through this suggestion a little more. ]

Oh, stuff that doesn't belong to people though! You know like the TV's in the halls. Smashing property is no bueno. My captain will yell at me if I suggest otherwise.

I was with ya 'till you switched it up on me. Breaking things feel way better and way more satisfying if it belongs to someone else. Everyone knows that.

(she makes a face but then a smirk.)

C'mon, you gotta agree with that, right? I bet there's someone you hate or were angry about you had the urge to just wanna rip what they got.

[ All he can give in response to Jinx's smirk is a shrug and a glib smile. ]

I don't hate anybody like that. There's not enough time in this world to get all hung up on hating people who aren't worth my time. No need to give them that attention, you know?

[ He won't go so far to say he's free of hate or anger or any normal feelings like that, but he's got some years on Jinx and something about a terminal illness really puts life in prospective. Like, why should he give a shit! If you're rude and awful to him or people he cares about, if you've crossed the line he'll do what needs to be done...but he's not gonna think about you for a second after its over. ]

Why, are you upset with someone, Miss? This is still an advice stand if you want to talk about it.

I'm upset with a lotta people but who doesn't matter 'cuz none of 'em are here or they are here but they're just gonna do what they want. I can express whatever I feel and it won't make a difference.

(idly, she grabs her braid with a very light twirl.)

What will make a difference is be physical. Grabs their attention, y'know?

(with that, she takes her hair and rests it between her mouth and nose; pretending she has a moustache.)
