Mhm, so you're stuck with your enemy, but with mixed feelings due to the unknown nature of your friend. Your dilemma is pretty moral, miss.

[ It's not really a relationship she needs fixing, its more like ethically, there aren't a lot of good options to someone with a good sense of duty. ] You seem like a good person, so you're agonizing over what to do. I think that's a good sign you're not gonna just act rashly based on emotion.

I'll ask you a question, and I want you to really think about it: For what reason is the Jinx you know here still your enemy?

[ It's not judgmental, and he's not trying to guide her to any answer or another. It could be Caitlyn has a very good reason to keep her grudge, but if she can't voice one, Elysium thinks that's advice enough from a bystander like him. ]

You say that, but I find it hard to believe. I mean I've only met one other law enforcer on this ship, and they don't have a highly wanted criminal that they're after who just so happens to be their crush's sister.

[It was a good question to ask, and made her think for a moment. She had plenty of reasons to continue going after Jinx, but they were for crimes in Pilotover and personal vendetta for what she had done to Caitlyn's family. She recognized that she had no authority here to arrest or detain Jinx, which is why she hadn't really been acting against her but still.]

She tried to kill me, and she'll continue to do because she thinks that I brainwashed and stole her sister away from her. No matter what I do she's going to keep coming.

[ At one point in time his advice would have been to get out of dodge and say whatever you had to to get this chick off your back...but Caitlyn seems like a better person them him. ]

Stuck together, unresolved legal issues, missing sister, she thinks you're evil, and she'll come after you no matter what you do? Am I getting that right?

Jeez, miss. I don't think you've done anything wrong, basically, but in your situation the mature thing to do is to try not to escalate. Doesn't that just suck?

No, I didn't. But that isn't something that will matter to Jinx, and I don't think an apology is something that I should expect from her either.

[He was right, that it wasn't something that she could just walk away from. Gods know that her mother and others had certainly tried their best to get to. Even Vi had tried to get her to just walk away and give up. That they were oil and water.]

I think you're right, I just have to try to be a voice of reason and not escalate things. That's my responsibility I suppose given my position.
