Getting His Sea Legs - OTA
Who: Erik Lehnsherr and YOU
What: New blood on board and he's a little intrigued about what all this is.
Where: All over the ship; he's getting the lay of the land.
When: Last week of August
Warnings: None so far.
Erik has done orientation and met a few people. Now he's watching and learning. He's not inclined to cause any trouble yet. He doesn't know enough. He does know better than to show your hand before you even know what game you're playing.
[Catch Erik anywhere around the ship.]

Making her way over to him, she lifts one hand to wave. "I believe we haven't met, I'm still making my rounds to introduce myself to others."
Now, he's on the list.

She jokes, though she's honest enough to make it known that she's new. "With my brother, we are the Dioscuri. But the name you may address me by is Pollux. We are the lights that will guide you through the storms and thrashing sea, if you are ever in need of aid, please do call our names."
It's good to put her services out there too.

"You're... a lighthouse?"

It doesn't throw her off, but she doesn't mind correcting him. "Do you know of St. Elmo's Fire?"

"Yes, the light that sailor's see during a storm. That consists of me and my brother, among other things."

A hand raises to place over her heart, sure of her answer, she nods gently.
"That's why you can come to me or my brother if you need anything."

"I-I'm sorry," she apologizes, biting her bottom lip gently before continuing. "My brother doesn't like when I answer inquiries like that."
He feels as though anything that defines Pollux shouldn't be known by everyone, and she doesn't want to get the other in trouble.

"I believe people are at peace with what I am. Why are you so curious?"

Who would be? After what she's heard, all she can do is fret for others, but keep a smile on her face when nothing is happening.
"I want to ensure the safety of those aboard this ship."

With a frown, her fingers dig into the fabric of her clothes before blinking away the sadness in her eyes.
"Would you like to tell me about them? Memories are always nice to talk about."

"She must have been a very special and courageous woman." Pollux means that, offering a nod after. "I know you must miss her very much, and as much as I would want you two to reunite; I could never wish for her to be in a place like this."

There's a brief moment as a shower of blue starlight sparks give way to his physical form, and behind Pollux, her brother folds his arms over his chest with a look that is far less than impressed.
"Pollux," He starts. "You shouldn't waste your time with this human. I thought you wanted to go to the pool?"

Castor doesn't even miss a beat on that one, nor does he bother with more than a cursory glance out of his peripheral in this guy's direction. But, hey, at least that other little tidbit is news to him—an ugly grin begins to spread across his face here.
"Good—"

Nononononono. She knows that look.
She raises up both her arms as though she's cheering, but making sure one hand smacks him against the face to cover his mouth.
"Brother! You made it! I've missed you." Quick, play it off. "This is Erik Lehnsherr, and this is my brother, Castor."

"A pleasure, I'm sure," Erik tells him. "Your sister tells me you protect people. A noble calling."
