[Through the back half of August, Stede will be checking in with the crew, giving them a wan smile and asking]
How are you doing? [he might not look like he's particularly doing well, but he's fine]
Burying the Hatchet
[at some point he'll leave a note in the bathroom, because where the hell else is he going to leave it? Asking Ossie to meet him at the Drunken Sailor any time around 10pm. Because they need to talk. Hopefully the man will show up sooner rather than later, but Stede is well prepared for him to be fashionably late]
