SEPTEMBER EVENT: SKULLY'S ANGELS
[around 10:30PM, after Friday has returned from bringing all the other guests back to the ship, she parks the tender just off the shore, idling. she sticks her head out of the door.]
Good luck! Just come get me if you need anything! [beat] But, only if it’s something I can do without stepping outside! [beat] Have fun!
[she then pops back inside. they’re on their own, for now.
the salamander villagers have returned to their homes for the night, it seems… all but one, a smaller one, bedecked in leather armor and carrying a spear. they watch the group as they leave the beach, eyes fixed… and then, slowly but distinctly, they toss their head in the direction of inland, and turn away from them to begin a sort of watch.
perhaps that was salamander for good luck. you’ll need it.]

And then -- Friday. Seeing her plainly for the first time should be enough to remind him that she's only a construct, that the emotions she expresses are nothing more than the result of her being designed to care where the Captain could not. It should repulse him the way it does when he has to deal with the hollow men.
He drops to her side, pressing one gloved hand hard over the bubbling gash in Jenny's throat.] Damned right, he has to. [Okay, just have to get her up and maybe not have her bleed out first.] Help me carry her. Will the salamanders attack?

[beat]
If, um, you could leave whatever "the can" is behind, though? That's apparently the most valuable item to them... It helps cure insanity!

The can? [...cures insanity? ...Probably not the kind of cure that would work for psychotic demi-gods and wannabes like Jenny and the Captain.] Fine, fine --
[He hollers, just like, at the top of his lungs,] GIVE THE LIZARDS THE DAMN CAN BACK! [Alright, Jenny, please don't weigh as much as Max. ...Wait where is Max. And Ava??? Son of a bitch.]

It's here!
[This is fucking madness, why aren't they all sailing the fuck away from here already! Izzy pulls over Max's bag and roots through it for the tin of beans, holding it up with triumph. Look. It's been a long night.]
If you lot want this, fine. Take it.
[Here lizards, lizards, lizards pss pss pss]

Fuck you.
[before returning to their people, who, clearly mollified, leave the weird dead explorers to do whatever it is they do.]
