[OPEN] October Cruisin'
Who: Six, OPEN
What: October catch-all
Where: All over the ship
When: All of October
Warnings: Six is a former mercenary assassin who only recently quit the business from his own perspective thanks to losing six years of his memory. He's also never had a vacation before and has quickly decided that they're overrated.
Testing Damages
Six checked the marks he'd deliberately made in the corridor outside his cabin, frowning as he saw they were still there. One thing this cruise from Hell was consistent about was fixing itself.
Not anymore it seemed.
That was...troubling. If the Captain could maintain even small damages like this, did that mean his powers were growing stronger? Or was it somehow the opposite?
He drew a shuriken, popping out the blades so he could make a tally mark above the other mark. He'd keep track until all of the marks were gone.
Assessing the Damages
No servers at the bars. No food except for in the buffet. The marks next to his door weren't getting fixed. This was a potential issue.
He wandered the ship, taking in any new changes. However, he didn't wander unarmed. Just because this hell ship was falling apart didn't mean there wasn't another shoe waiting to drop.
Wildcard
((OOC: Got an idea for a third with Six? Throw it at me!))

Assessing the Damages
"Hey. What're you looking for?"
no subject
He could assist in basic repairs but nothing complex without guidance.
"You?"
no subject
"Oh, I got a thing from the Sundries shop." He gives it another shake, the contents sliding around. "Trying to figure out what it is before I open it."
no subject
He and his roommate weren't fans of cluttering up the place.
He looked at the bag. "How can you not know? You picked it out, didn't you?"
no subject
"Nah it's from home. You get any of those yet? Sometimes I get these cards that say I have a gift in the shop and it's usually something from back home in Montana. Though sometimes it's just random crap. And a few times I've been able to figure it out by shaking it." Which he does again. Then he pulls out a set of dog tags from one of his pockets and jostles it around in his hand, "Last time it was these and was pretty fucking obvious what it was in a box. But this.. I'm not sure."
no subject
Strange that objects from home kept getting pulled in. Maybe a ploy to induce homesickness to further torture the passengers?
"My roommate and I typically keep the place clean ourselves. Been washing my own plates from meals since I don't want to find out how long the dirties will pile up."
no subject
"I'm a slob, but I'm trying to be better I just.. the rooms kinda a mess anyway because I keep bringing food from the buffet and Caitlyn has stacks of papers everywhere and she moved the furniture to have a whole wall to make one of those boards that have pictures connected with red string you know? She's trying to figure out why some people come from the same worlds but not together."
He goes to put the dog tags away in his pocket, kinda fumbles it one handed and then just puts them on for the time being until he has both hands free again.
"Actually, you're like a secret agent kickass fighter dude right? If I open this and it's something terrible can you punch me through the wall before I freak out?"

He raised a brow.
"You're looking festive."
no subject
She glances down at her attire, then grins faintly. "Yes, had to make my own," because apparently the Spirit Halloween hadn't appeared for all her spooky needs yet.

"Still there, I see. Seems we are on our own for some time to come." And after he'd just gotten used to not needing to make his own bed, too.
no subject
Honestly, Six made his "bed" every day by folding up the blanket and setting it and the pillow to one side of the couch so people could sit on it. He'd assumed Smith was making the bed himself.
no subject
Number 6 had been making his bed, but apparently the ghosts didn't think he did a good enough job of it and had been remaking it for him anyway. So, he'd given up the battle and let them tend to it. Until now.
"Someone clever has set up a log to keep track of the damages in a notebook located in the library. It's next to the log of known information about the ship and captain. Have you seen it?"
no subject
no subject
"After what I experienced on that raft, I'm not sure the life boats were ever intended to be anything more than for show. For better or for worse, I believe our survival is dependent on the integrity of this ship... and her Captain."
no subject
Starving people became desperate. Desperate people did horrible things they'd never imagine doing in the name of survival. He knew that from personal experience.

okay with wrapping this one or do we need to keep going for AC?
Got AC so at this point it'd just be bonus. I'm willing to wrap it though. :)
Assessing the Damages, October 7th morning
But there's still good news to be had in this hellhole, and that's why César's finding Six. It actually makes him laugh when he runs into Six patrolling the salon part of the spa.
"Oh, Six! What are... you doing here?" César's too curious, and for the moment, completely forgets what he was looking to tell him.
no subject
He raised a brow at César.
"What about you?"
no subject
"I was looking for you, but I also wanted to touch up my hair." He shrugs. "Figured at worse I'd pop in, do a trim, and then keep going if you weren't here."
... you could've texted.
no subject
The eyebrow arched higher.
"You were expecting me to be here?"
no subject
no subject
"So what was it you needed me for? Couldn't have been an emergency."
César would've texted in that case.
no subject
He doesn't need lead-up with Six. Just come straight out and say it.
