I do like a good detective story, as long as the solution isn't something just whipped out of thin air. You can't solve anything like that....but since I've never heard his name before, I'd be delighted to try him!

The solutions don't comes out of nowhere. There's always hints. And the culprits are pretty interesting, too.

If you're looking for escapism though, you might want to skip the one about a ship murder mystery.

Oh, it'll be fine. That's a different ship than this one - this one has all sorts of magic, doesn't it? I'll read it regardless, and give you my honest opinion.
