Oh, yeah, sure! [ she actually hits the button so the screen extends from the base hardware, and will hand it over to Helena ] It's mostly a touch screen on hardlight dust, but I can turn on some of the audio assistance if you wanted to poke at it some.

[there's a genuine awe that comes as she shifts her cane and uses both hands to hold the device. technology is amazing - it's truly captivating, how far some people can go. it's only after a moment that she remembers to voice her thoughts.]

Hardlight, you said...I know a few people who'd be over the moon to know something like this exists, and be looking to understand and recreate it.

It's cool, right? Hardlight dust is pretty rare in comparison to other dusts where I come from, though uh, 'dust' is one of those things only my world seems to have.

[ Literal magic dust, though they still don't call it magic. Ruby can't not smile at how awed Helena is by it all. ]

But hardlight is only really used for a few mainstream things, the rest is all highly specialised and rarely seen. Like uhhh... shields, or a friend of mine uses it to copy weapons.
