Teen Party? Teen party [OPEN]
Who: Ruby Rose & other teens/young adults on the ship
What: Party stuff and a sleepover!
When: 24th November?
Where: Playback!
Warnings: Nothing yet but who knows with the teens on this boat
Notes: What it says on the tin, this is a sleepover/party aimed at the teens and young adults on board, including a truth or dare game that will clearly not go at all wrong. Adulty-adults poke your nose in at your own risk but the upper age limit is wavey hands, you are not actually going to get carded at the door.
The idea comes to her and is acted upon in true Ruby fashion: rapidly and without hesitation. From first getting struck by the thought to posting the fliers there is, in total, maybe 48 hours and most of that is actually sequestering materials. What eventually makes it to the walls is a very basic flier with a very rudimentary stick figure drawing of a bunch of happy, smiling teenagers that look vaguely like some of those Ruby knows are onboard, a disco ball, music notes, and a single badly drawn gaming cabinet.
PARTY & SLEEPOVER IN PLAYBACK
Teens and young adults only!
24th of November
PJs encouraged, blankets provided but you can bring your own, same for snacks, alcohol is up to you I am not your mom
More movies, games, etc. all very much appreciated!
There will be truth or dare
NO MURDER ALLOWED!!! >:C
These pop up around the cabin area, playback itself, and the atrium, though you might get a personal invite via text or in person if Ruby already knows you. If you're (un)lucky enough to know her well, you might even get dragged into set-up the day before.
What set-up? Primarily, carrying down as many blankets and pillows as is possible to Playback and creating an ungodly pile of them in the lounge area that may spill a little over the border into the arcade. There are snacks of all sorts collected from the various food establishments on the ship, though if anyone wants ice cream there may have to be snack runs on account of melting. Alcohol is not banned but is also not directly supplied (though Erin does bring some, her warning is transcribed word for word and attributed to her). And whilst Ruby herself does not have movies or games (besides those in Playback itself) there is very much a space set aside for them, as she assumes at least some people have some to offer.
Does she have any idea what she's doing? Not really, but it's the effort that counts, and for what it is it should do the job. Playback itself provides most of what they could want for a party like this: the lounge space, the arcade, the dance zone... even the indoor playground she thinks most of them are too old or too big for. They have options. Just learn to tune out the creepy disembodied laughter and things will be fine.
Now hopefully nothing goes too wrong. Everyone will clearly be on their best behaviour. She did ask for no murder!
