She's passed the word quietly, asked others to do the same. Been as careful as possible not to let the word spread any further. With no other good options presenting themselves, she's asked Lieutenant Tayrey to host the meeting in her cabin.

It's been just over a month since they last met on the subject. Time and past to reconvene.

"Whichever the case, it makes my head hurt to think about." Figuratively, for once. "If passengers simply skip forward, like a stone on a pond," he flicks his wrist, though Dimitri's never successfully skipped a rock in his life, "that suggests our lives there are more predestined that I'd like to believe."

Especially knowing what happened -- will happen -- to Dedue.

"On the other hand, if we're actually sent home, and then brought back, it's a point towards the theory that returning would erase our memories. Moreover -- supposedly we're brought here at random, by this 'erda flow'. Yet ... " Dimitri trails off, chewing his lip. "I was going to say that we may be bound to the ship in some manner, since if we are sent home, our return is far less random. But then ... it's possible not everyone is brought back to the ship."

A gleam of hope. They can't exactly prove that every vanished passenger is sent to the Nothing. Sometimes a skipped stone simply disappears into the water.

Cassandra studies him. "I ... very much want to believe that's possible. I suspect many of us do. I'm not sure I can evaluate it dispassionately, as a theory. But it seems sound."
